TV platform data strategy
A major European TV platform wanted to understand how the collection of data from its set top boxes should feature in its technology roadmap.
Redshift demonstrated and quantified the range of strategic and operational benefits that would flow to the platform and its different shareholders. We conducted interviews with key internal and external stakeholders to identify priorities and challenges related to the collection and evaluation of the various data properties available to the client. Our recommendations were used to build consensus throughout the organisation including the clients’ executive team and the board of directors.
As a result of our project, the platform prioritised data collection in its technology planning and now has one of the most effective data collection programmes in the sector.
